MECPREC was founded in 2008 and is based in Trofa, 20 km from Porto, Portugal. Today, with a total of 2700m² of production area and 44 employees, MECPREC is qualified for specialized and integrated subcontracting in the manufacturing of metal parts for the most diverse sectors: Agriculture; Construction (facades, ducts, pipelines, dams); Telecommunication (towers, rooftops); Metal furniture; Automotive industry; Industrial automation and robotics.
Our services are:
- 2D laser cutting sheet metal (up to 25mm thickness);
- Tube laser cutting (Round Tube – Ø 220mm | Square Tube – 160x160mm | Rectangular Tube – 100x200mm. Maximum tube length 12 meters – 40kg per linear meter – maximum thickness 12mm. These limits require proportionality);
- Oxycutting, plasma cutting (up to 270mm thickness);
- Bending;
- Mechanical welding (TIG, MIG-MAG and LASER) – assembly of assemblies and sub-assemblies;
- Machining – We work with a certified company;
- Finishings (hot galvanizing, zinc plating, painting and lacquering with C4 and C5 protection) – We work with a Metal Steel Coat certified company;
- Engineering.
We are currently equipped with high-tech machines: 4 laser cutting machines, 3 bending centers, 1 metalworking center and 7 mechanical welding centers.
We manufacture parts (accessories) and welded constructions/assemblies (small or large series).
